Group 1 recruitment (Deputy Collector, DSP, ATO, and other services) keeps the three-stage flow: Prelims, Mains, and Interview. Prelims is screening (300 marks), Mains (750 marks) + Interview (100 marks) decide the final rank.

Mains papers (3 × 250 marks)

Three descriptive papers build on Prelims themes. Write with sub-headings, committee references, and Tamil Nadu case studies.
