Mains focus (expected)
Three papers of 250 marks each are expected to continue with the same distribution.
Paper I – History, Culture, Society
Indian/Tamil history, culture, social justice, disaster management, ethics caselets.
Paper II – Polity & Governance
Constitution, federalism, public administration, welfare delivery, accountability, and e-governance.
Paper III – Economy, Science, Environment
TN economy, agriculture/industry, infrastructure, science & tech, environment and climate resilience.

Tamil eligibility paper
Expected to remain a 300-mark qualifying paper; 40% needed to value GS papers.
Cover grammar, comprehension, translation, essay/letter formats, proverbs, and authorship. Practise timed scripts to avoid handwriting penalties.

Week 1–2: Finish Tamil qualifying basics + Polity (TN + Indian).
